Mission Organizations

  • Christian Reformed World Missions | Fulfilling the Great Commission by sending out servants to over 40 countries and by partnering with churches and organizations, in North America and beyond, to expand Christ’s reign around the world.
  • CRWRC Disaster Response | Sends teams to help clear debris, assess needs, and rebuild homes after disasters strike. Christ Community sends a missions team with CRWRC every summer to a location that has experienced disaster and is in need of assistance. Past locations include Cedar Rapids, IA and Pikeville, KY. Stay tuned for future trips!
  • God’s Littlest Angels Orphanage, Haiti | GLA provides shelter and care for Haitian orphans and is also involved in international adoptions and providing school sponsorships for children unable to attend school due to lack of funds.
  • Juna Amagara Ministries | Juna Amagara‚Äôs mission is to raise up and equip children in Uganda with the tools they need to become leaders within their community. It is their vision to empower children’s personal and spiritual growth by providing them with safe shelter, quality education, balanced nutrition, health education and vocational training.
  • Yugo Ministries | Yugo ministries reaches out to Mexico while challenging, equipping, and mobilizing the local Mexican church, as well as the North American church to be involved in missions worldwide.
  • CBIJapan | Planting Churches, training pastors, and serving the people of Japan.

Jeanine De Jong

Jeanine portraitJeanine is serving in West Africa, working at Hillcrest School in central Nigeria. She serves both as a teacher and as the guidance counselor for the middle and high schools, as well as providing personal and educational counseling for the students, staff, and larger community. Though Hillcrest is a Christian, American-curriculum school, its student body represents over fifteen different countries and five different religions. Through this position, she has been granted the unique opportunity to work with and help train up the future leaders of both Nigeria and countries across the world.

Pete Rizzuto

Pete portraitPete is serving in the Middle East and works with students from many different ethnic and faith backgrounds. His passion is to see a generation of students pursue passionate faith in order to lead and impact their generation. Pete provides Christian youthwork for various churches & organizations, trains local students and leaders in effective multi-cultural youthwork, runs leadership & character development programs in local schools, and is in the process of establishing mentoring programs for students.
